"munki" is far from being their best...and maybe would have been better as an EP...but it's still JAMC, and it reminds me of their sound on "stoned and dethroned" (although the songs aren't as good). compared to other stuff on SubPop i think it stands up pretty well. plus, i admit that i am stuck in an "era" for the most part. a few of those albums came out between 1994-2000...my glory days, so my frame of reference is relatively small.<br />thanks for reading.Josh H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10094470109875163890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4781460569642376104.post-2048350861023651862011-02-23T11:15:16.690-08:002011-02-23T11:15:16.690-08:00I already know we have like 80% of the same music ...I already know we have like 80% of the same music taste, so I pretty much agree w/ all of your selections, except I have not listened to Murder City Devils. That J&MC album is probably one of their weakest, BUT I love them more than is rationally possible, so I still like it. I think more than anything, it could use some editing, and maybe take out 3 or 4 songs as its overly long.Stephscohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06328839483008086049noreply@blogger.com
